1. Thymol can be used to prepare flavors and spices. It is an additive in cigarettes and is also commonly used to make flavors such as cappuccino, mint, citrus, mushroom flavors and spices. 2. Thymol can be used for biological pesticides. 3. Thymol has a strong bactericidal effect. It is mainly used in oral hygiene products, and used in ENT department to prepare fungicidal tinctures to treat external ear canal and skin mold infections; 4. Thymol can also be used as a feed additive as a disinfectant. 5. Thymol can be used as an indicator.
