Recently，the Jiangxi Province Science and Technology Award 2019has been published, including the Provincial Natural Science Award, the Provincial Technological Invention Award, and the Provincial Science and Technology Progress Award, with a total of 148 projects awarded. Jiangxi Tianyu Chemical Co., Ltd. won the 3rd prize of Provincial Science and Technology Progress Award  due to achievement on “"Synthesis technology of environmentally refrigerant intermediate 1,1,2, 3-tetrachloropropene (4E)”.

This technological achieved purity of 4E product is over 99.7%, while water≤50ppm, which is improved greatly compared to traditional process. This technological fills the technical gap domestically and has a good leading demonstration effect. In addition, the technology of tar treatment and improving the biodegradability of wastewater is domestic initiative, and its technical level has reached the domestic advanced level, which has promoted the new development of the industry's "three wastes" treatment technology. This achievement has also promoted the application of the fourth generation of new environmentally friendly fluorinated refrigerants, and has accelerated the pace of research on fluorine chemical products in China.
